NetSource Safe Harbor Privacy Policy
The United States Department of Commerce and the European Commission have agreed to a set of data protection policies called Safe Harbor. Safe Harbor provides guidelines on how U.S. Companies need to provide adequate protection of personal information transferred from the EU or Switzerland to the United States. NetSource also adheres to these polcies for all its customers.
NetSource Communications, Inc. adheres to the U.S.-EU and U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework and the principles of Notice, Choice, Onward Transfer, Access, Security, Data Integrity, Enforcement, and Dispute Resolution. This policy means that NetSource treats our customers personal information coming from the European Union and Switzerland with strict confidentiality and the data will not be shared except how outlined in our privacy principles section below.

Safe Harbor Scope
The Safe Harbor Data Protection Policy applies to all of NetSource's customer information collected by NetSource in the United States from the European Union and Switzerland. NetSource only collects personal information from our customers in order to bill for sevices or provide fullfillment of services to them. The information collected includes any personal information received via the following formats: electronic, paper, or verbal. Our Safe Harbor compliance only covers data that NetSource collects for our own billing, marketing, or hosting service support needs. NetSource cannot be responsible for data that is collected by any of our customers who are using our services (no secondary liability).
Privacy Principles
NOTICE:
When NetSource collects personal data from individuals (our customers), we will provide timely notice to describe what we are collecting and how the data collected will be used. NetSource will not use data collected for purposes other than that for which it was originally collected. NetSource does not provide any of the customer information we collect to third parties except for a specific reason with the customer's approval, or for billing or fullfilling services to the customer they signed up for or under a court order. NetSource will never provide or sell our customer's data to third parties for marketing.
CHOICE:
NetSource will offer individuals an opportunity to (opt-out) before personal information would be used for a purpose other than what was originally outlined. NetSource will provide a clear and readily available mechanism to exercise choice for any individual from which we collect information. See NetSource contact information below.
ONWARD TRANSFER:
NetSource will never transfer personal information to third parties unless for a specific reason that has been agreed to by the individual when collecting the information. NetSource does not sell any information to third parties for any reason. NetSource only uses the data collected from individuals for billing purposes, supporting the client, or to discuss NetSource products and services.
ACCESS:
NetSource will provide reasonable access to an individual's personal information if they would like to correct, change, or delete their information. Customer's can view their personal information inside of a NetSource secure "My Account" area on our website. Customers can change some of their information directly in the "My Account" section of our website or change/remove all their information by contacting NetSource at 866-778-1212 and providing proof of who you are. NetSource may need to keep certain information for billing purposes , or that may be required by law.
SECURITY:
NetSource takes reasonable steps to protect all personal information from unauthorized loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Protection of data is provided through physical, electronic, and managerial procedures that are followed by all NetSource employees.
DATA INTEGRITY:
NetSource will take reasonable measures to ensure the accuracy of personal data we collect. NetSource will only use the data in ways that are consistent with the purpose for which they were collected or if authorized by the individual. NetSource will take reasonable steps to ensure the data is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current.
ENFORCEMENT:
NetSource uses a self-assessment approach to ensure compliance with the policy. NetSource will conduct scheduled compliance audits of our privacy policies each year to ensure adherence. NetSource will train employees on the privacy policies to ensure each employee understands the policy in place. NetSource will provide disciplinary measures if we find that an employee is knowingly not following the policies laid out on this page. NetSource will investigate and attempt to resolve any issues brought to our attention by an individual from whom NetSource has collected information.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION:
If a compliant or dispute cannot be resolved through an internal process at NetSource, we agree to cooperate with the EU Data Protection Authorities (DPAs) for dispute resolution.
AMENDMENTS:
This policy may be amended from time to time, consistent with the requirements of the Safe Harbor principles. Any amendments to the NetSource policy will be listed on this page. Last amended on April 3, 2013.
